Manila, March 10 -- Another 70-megawatt (MW) solar project will rise in the coastal village of Paguludan-Salindeg in Currimao, Ilocos Norte to help reduce the country's dependence on fossil fuel.
This was after members of the Ilocos Norte Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) unanimously approved on Monday Resolution No. 413-2025 granting support and endorsement to Astra Solar Energy Corporation for a solar energy operating contract issued by the Department of Energy in support of the government's renewable energy initiative.
