TACLOBAN CITY, Dec. 2 -- The Local Amnesty Board (LAB) in this city, in partnership with the Philippine Army's 802nd Infantry Brigade (IB), launched an Amnesty Orientation and Application Caravan at the Peace and Prosperity Village in Barangay Daja Daku, San Isidro, Leyte on Tuesday.

The event marks the anniversary of the National Amnesty Proclamation and is part of the 100-day countdown before the filing deadline.

Col. Rico Amaro, deputy commander of the 802nd IB, urged former rebels and other eligible individuals to take advantage of the government program, underscoring its role in achieving lasting peace and supporting reintegration.
