Manila, April 14 -- The Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas remains solid and continues to build momentum ahead of the May 12 elections due to the coalition's growing national and local support, campaign manager and Navotas Rep. Toby Tiangco said on Monday.

"The five-party Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas, composed of Partido Federal ng Pilipinas, Lakas-CMD, National People's Coalition, National Unity Party and Nacionalista Party, is intact," Tiangco said in a statement.

He said the administration coalition is being strengthened not just by traditional alliances but by a growing wave of grassroots support.

"Our candidates continue to receive overwhelming support both at the national and local level, and even from grassroots organizations....
