Manila, Feb. 20 -- The senatorial candidates of the Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas will help the administration in protecting and promoting public interests and welfare and have no intentions to instill fear, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. said Thursday.

In a campaign rally in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, Marcos said the Alyansa's senatorial bets come from different political parties that have agreed to join forces, in a bid to realize their shared goal of promoting the Filipinos' interests and welfare.
