Manila, Feb. 11 -- The Philippine Navy (PN) on Tuesday said it welcomes all offers coming from its allies to develop its warfighting capabilities.

PN spokesperson Capt. John Percie Alcos made this remark in response to the Royal Canadian Navy's (RCN) offer to provide submarine training to Filipino crew, following the visit of its contingent to the Navy headquarters at Roxas Boulevard, Manila on Feb. 7.

"The PN welcomes all offers of assistance from other like-minded navies in developing all our warfighting capabilities across all the four dimensions of warfare," he told the Philippine News Agency, referring to sea, air, land and electronic warfare.
