Manila, Nov. 29 -- Japanese players will clash for the boys' singles title at the first leg of the ITF J30 Manila after Aoi Ishizaki stunned sixth-seeded compatriot Kuranosuke Suzuki, 6-2, 7-6 (3), at Rizal Memorial Tennis Center in Manila on Saturday.
Ishizaki will face fellow Japanese qualifier Shun Munetoh, who earlier pulled off a shock 7-6 (7), 6-1 victory over second seed Ruochen Gao of China.
In the girls' singles, top seed Yi-Ching Huang of Chinese Taipei advanced to the final with a 2-6, 6-3, 6-1 win over sixth seed Paweenon Nualsri of Thailand.
Huang will meet South Korea's second-ranked Park Seojin, who dominated third seed Pimphat Lim of Thailand, 6-2, 6-1.
