LEGAZPI CITY, May 29 -- The Albay provincial disaster council has advised fishermen in coastal villages on the eastern seaboard of the province not to sail following a gale warning from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

PAGASA on Monday said that rough to high sea conditions due to bad weather are risky for all types of sea vessels. Mariners are advised to remain in port or take shelter until winds and waves subside.

In an advisory issued and signed by Albay Governor Edcel Greco Lagman, the public was also urged to continuously monitor weather bulletins from PAGASA and advisories from different local disaster authorities.
