Manila, Nov. 6 -- The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) on Wednesday reported minimal damage in some airports in areas struck by Typhoon Tino.
In a statement, CAAP Director General, retired Lt. Gen. Raul Del Rosario, said that based on initial situation reports, several airports experienced minor structural impacts, but no major infrastructure damage or aviation-related incidents were reported.
"We have already deployed our personnel on the ground to assess any damaged facilities and ensure immediate repair actions. We are also closely coordinating with our area managers for timely updates and swift response," Del Rosario said.
