Manila, Feb. 4 -- The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) reminded all prospective Filipino overseas workers to be wary of accepting job offers that are too good to be true to avoid being deployed to fight in conflict zones.
"We would like to remind our public, na huwag tayo basta-basta maniwala ng magagandang offers sa atin ng trabaho. Make sure lang po natin na legal and lawful agencies natin para makapagtrabaho abroad (to not readily believed very good jobs offers from abroad. They must make sure that these job offers abroad are coming from legal and lawful agencies)," AFP public affairs office chief Col. Xerxes Trinidad said in an interview Tuesday.
