Manila, April 8 -- The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) on Tuesday received two refurbished buses from a transportation company that will be used to transport medical and support personnel to the various patient care centers (PCCs) in Metro Manila.

Naval Capt. Jonathan Zata, military public affairs office chief, said the two buses were formally received by AFP deputy chief-of-staff for civil-military operations, Maj. Gen. Edgardo de Leon, along with deputy chief-of-staff for logistics, Rear Admiral Alberto Carlos, and General Headquarters and Headquarters Service Command chief, Brig. Gen. Rodolfo Lavadia Jr., from Victory Liner Inc. representative Dominic Hernandez.
