Manila, March 19 -- The Armed Forces of the Phlippines (AFP) highlighted the urgent need for strengthened cyber resilience to safeguard national security amid rising security threats.
During the GovX.0 Summit on Wednesday in Pasay City, AFP Spokesperson Col. Francel Margareth Padilla underscored the importance of a unified, whole-of-nation approach to cybersecurity, noting the increasing risks posed by foreign espionage, cyber attacks, and disinformation campaigns.
"So there will be always attacks that are driving us in different parts of society. But what is important to know is we're able to detect and we're able to deter these attacks," she said.
