Manila, Oct. 22 -- The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) on Wednesday welcomed the results of the latest OCTA Research survey showing high public trust and satisfaction ratings for the military.
In a statement, the AFP attributed the overwhelming public support to the "professionalism and selfless service" of its members.
"The AFP leadership extends its gratitude to every soldier, airman, sailor, and marine whose professionalism and selfless service have earned the respect and trust of our people," it said.
OCTA's third quarter "Tugon ng Masa" survey, conducted on Sept. 23 to 30, showed 73 percent of adult Filipinos trust the AFP and are satisfied with its performance, resulting in a net trust rating of +66 and net performance rati...
