Manila, Feb. 7 -- More than 8,900 beneficiaries will benefit from the implementation of Project Local Adaptation to Water Access (LAWA) and Breaking Insufficiency through Nutritious Harvest (BINHI) by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in Bicol.

In an interview on Friday, DSWD-5 Director Norman Laurio said the beneficiaries of the cash-for-training and cash-for-work programs will come from 33 cities and towns in Bicol identified as part of the vulnerable sector.
