Manila, Jan. 21 -- Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity (OPAPRU) Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr. said the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), which is celebrating its seventh anniversary Wednesday, showcases that a path of dialogue can lead to peace.

"The establishment of the BARMM is more than just a fulfillment of the peace agreement between the Philippine Government and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF). It is the realization of a generations-long aspiration -a sacred quest for meaningful autonomy," he said in a statement on Wednesday.
