Manila, June 23 -- About 700 residents of San Carlos City and Candoni town in Negros Occidental received PHP6.72 million in cash-for-work (CFW) aid after completing activities under the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Risk Resiliency Program-Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation.

Each beneficiary received PHP9,600 after completing the 20-day CFW as part of the rollout of the Project BINHI (Breaking Insufficiency through Nutritious Harvest) and Project LAWA (Local Adaptation to Water Access), the DSWD-Western Visayas reported in Monday.
