Manila, April 5 -- About 500 arts and culture enthusiasts participated in a heritage walk earlier this week as the Cagayan Museum and Historical Research Center led sorties to antique residences and buildings in Cagayan province.

The stakeholders from the academe and civil society groups joined the affair dubbed as "Mannalan Tera", a Cagayan Heritage Conservation Society-established event on cultural heritage protection and conservation.

The group's two pioneers, Kevin Baclig and Prince Wilson Macarubbo, also gave lectures after the tour on old sites that included the East Central School, Tuguegarao Cathedral, Rizal Park, Horno Ruins and Tribunal de Tuguegarao, which was the old provincial jail and now Cagayan Museum's new location.
