Manila, Dec. 11 -- The Department of Labor and Employment in Bicol (DOLE-5) awarded PHP2.4 million worth of livelihood starter kits to 50 beneficiaries of its integrated livelihood program in Daet, Camarines Norte.

In a report Thursday, Johana Vi Gasga, DOLE-Bicol spokesperson, said the beneficiaries, part of Project DAET (Diversified Approaches to Economic Thriving), received livelihood tools and materials aimed at supporting and jumpstarting their chosen enterprises.

She said the recipients received kits for food vending, baking, sewing, Nego-karts, barber services, fishing, feeds production, meat vending, welding, t-shirt printing, nail care services and masonry.
