Manila, Oct. 28 -- Five weather systems, including a low-pressure area (LPA) and the northeast monsoon or "amihan", will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains across the country, the weather bureau said Tuesday.

In its 5 a.m. advisory, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the LPA is located 275 kilometers east of Pag-asa Island, Kalayaan, Palawan.

PAGASA said the LPA has a small chance of developing into a tropical depression, but it is embedded along the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) affecting Palawan, the Visayas and Mindanao.
