Manila, July 25 -- As part of the Philippine National Police's (PNP) latest reorganization, its chief Gen. Nicolas Torre III has reassigned five ranking officials to new posts.

In an order dated and taking effect on July 28, Torre designated Brig. Gen. Christopher Abrahano as acting director of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), replacing Brig. Gen. Romeo Macapaz, who will head the Police Regional Office (PRO) 12 (Soccsksargen).

Meanwhile, Brig. Gen. Arnold Ardiente was designated as executive officer of the Area Police Command - Visayas. Brig. Gen. Marcial Magistrado IV was named the director of PRO 13 (Caraga), and Col. Rodelio Samson was assigned as acting deputy regional director for administration of PRO 2 (Caga...
