Manila, Nov. 17 -- At least five individuals have expressed interest in joining the bidding for the seven luxury vehicles of the Discayas, which is set on Thursday at the Bureau of Customs (BOC) in South Harbor, Manila.
According to lawyer Chris Bendijo, deputy chief of staff of Commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno, the interested bidders have registered and paid for the registration fee.
"In terms of those who have registered...more than five have already expressed their interest and paid the registration fee," he said at the Bagong Pilipinas Ngayon public briefing.
The BOC official noted that in case there is a failure of bidding, they will adjust floor prices and schedule a rebidding.
