Manila, May 13 -- Pangasinan voters overwhelmingly returned five of six congressional incumbents to office, with only the Fourth District seeing new representation as Gina de Venecia succeeded her son, Christopher.

The Comelec provincial board certified the results Tuesday after a strong 86.76 percent voter turnout, or 1.87 million of 2.1 million registered voters.

In the First District, Arthur Celeste won unopposed with 187,173 votes, pledging to continue infrastructure projects, including the Bolinao bridge.

The Second District's Mark Cojuangco secured 231,839 votes against Lingayen Mayor Leopoldo Bataoil's 68,719, vowing to prioritize flood control projects.
