Philippines, Feb. 10 -- The Police Regional Office (PRO) 3 on Monday said it confiscated 46 firearms and arrested 36 individuals as part of its intensified campaign against loose firearms and to ensure safe and orderly elections on May 12 across Central Luzon.
In a statement, PRO3 chief Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo said the police also served 39 search warrants and made 23 operations against illegal possession of firearms.
