Philippines, Sept. 7 -- MANILA - The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) on Sunday reported that four national road sections in Northern Luzon remain impassable due to the combined effects of the southwest monsoon and a low-pressure area.

The DPWH Bureau of Maintenance said the remaining closed road sections as of 10 a.m. Sunday were as follows: * Baguio-Itogon Road, K0263+200, Sitio Goldfield, Brgy. Poblacion, Itogon, Benguet, due to soil collapse; * Balbalan - Pinukpuk Road K0522+800-K0522+820, Pinukpuk Jct., Pinukpuk, Kalinga, due to soil collapse; * Lubuagan-Batong Buhay-Abra Bdry.
