Manila, Sept. 9 -- Four individuals were arrested at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 in Pasay City after they were caught carrying 151.3 kilograms of suspected kush (high-grade marijuana) with an estimated street value of PHP227 million, the Philippine National Police-Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG) said on Tuesday.
In a statement, PDEG chief Brig. Gen. Edwin Quilates said the suspects, with aliases Jenet, Bryan, Cyril, and Erwin, were arrested during the controlled delivery operation conducted at the International Customs Arrival Area of NAIA Terminal 3 on Sept. 7.
