LAOAG CITY, Dec. 1 -- Four residents who turned over millions of pesos worth of shabu found floating off the shores of Ilocos Norte in June received cash reward from the provincial government on Monday.
The four - Julita Caraang, Ferdinand Asuncion, Julius Galapia and Lindbergn Leonador - were given PHP25,000 each during the flag-raising ceremony at the provincial capitol.
"Their vigilance and cooperation are crucial in our efforts to eradicate and block illegal drug sources in our communities," the Ilocos Norte Police Provincial Office (INPPO) said in a statement.
The cash incentive was from Ilocos Norte Gov. Cecilia Araneta-Marcos and INPPO led by Col. Joemar Labiano.
