MANILA, Sept. 12 -- Four drivers have tested positive for illegal drug use during a surprise drug test dubbed "Oplan Harabas" in Baguio City on Thursday, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency- Cordillera (PDEA-CAR) said.

In a statement on Friday, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Cordillera Director Derrick Carreon said the four were among the 311 drivers of buses, taxicabs, and jeepneys plying the city who were tested for drugs by PDEA chemists, while the licenses and vehicle registrations were checked by officers of the Land Transportation Office (LTO).

Drivers who tested positive for drug use during the confirmatory test will have their driver's licenses confiscated by the LTO pending the issuance of clearance by the PDEA. ...
