TACLOBAN CITY, Oct. 22 -- A four-day memorial service this week has been set for former Tacloban City mayor Alfredo "Bejo" Romualdez, the younger brother of former First Lady Imelda Romualdez-Marcos and uncle of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

Incumbent Mayor Alfred Romualdez, the deceased's son, invited family, friends, and supporters to pay their final respects during the memorial service on Oct. 22 to 25, 2025, at the Santo Nino Shrine and Heritage Museum in this city.

The mayor announced the schedule on Wednesday as part of their official statement following the passing of the 91-year-old former mayor on Oct. 17.
