Manila, July 24 -- Close to 400 families or over 1,500 individuals are still in this city's six evacuation centers, the city government of Manila reported on Thursday.
Based on the current data from the Manila Department of Social Welfare (MDSW) as of Thursday morning, there are about 395 families or 1,546 individuals remaining in the temporary shelters.
According to the Facebook post of the Manila City Government, of the number, majority or 266 families comprising 1,109 individuals are currently staying at Hermenegildo Atienza Elementary School in Baseco, Tondo, while others are spread in other evacuation centers.
The MDSW continues to help ensure the safety and welfare of all affected residents.
