MIDSAYAP, July 10 -- Health officials in North Cotabato has confirmed that a three-year-old boy from the province has been tested positive for coronavirus disease (Covid-19).
"He is the youngest Covid-19 positive case recorded so far in the province," Dr. Philbert Malaluan, speaking for the North Cotabato Inter-Agency task Force on Covid-19, said on Friday.
The patient is the 13th reported confirmed case in the area, he added.
The child, also the 84th confirmed case in the region, is from this town and currently confined at the isolation facility of the Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC) in Davao City.
The DOH-12 (Soccsksargen) tracker report dated Thursday said the patient is still awaiting a PH number.
