Manila, Feb. 20 -- A huge part of the country will experience rains caused by three prevailing weather systems, the weather bureau said Friday.

In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms are forecast in Caraga, Davao Region, Northern Mindanao, Soccsksargen, BARMM, Eastern Visayas, Sulu, Cebu, and Bohol due to the shear line.

Those areas could experience moderate to heavy rains that could result in flash floods or landslides.

The northeast monsoon or "amihan" will bring light rains across Cagayan Valley, Bicol Region, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Aurora, and Quezon, as well as isolated light rains...
