Manila, Jan. 29 -- Three weather systems -the northeast monsoon or "amihan", the easterlies and the shear line-are affecting the country Wednesday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.
In its 4 a.m. bulletin, the weather bureau said Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Central Visayas, and Dinagat Islands will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the shear line.
PAGASA said Catanduanes, Albay, Sorsogon, Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, Samar, Leyte, Southern Leyte, and Dinagat Islands would particularly experience moderate to heavy or 50 to 100 millimeters rainfall in the next 24 hours.
