MANILA, Nov. 25 -- Three transmission lines in the Visayas affected by Tropical Depression Verbena have been restored as of 1 p.m. Tuesday, but one remains unavailable, the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP) reported.
Restored are the Ubay-Garcia 69 kilovolt (kV) line, which services the Bohol II Electric Cooperative, Inc. (BOHECO II); the Iloilo-Lapaz 69kV Line, which serves the MORE Electric and Power Corp.; the Iloilo 1 Electric Cooperative, Inc. (ILECO I); and the Sta. Barbara-Miagao-San Joaquin 69kV Line.
The NGCP, however, said the Paranas-Quinapondan 69kV Line, which serves the Eastern Samar Electric Cooperative Inc. (ESAMELCO), remains unavailable.
