Manila, Dec. 18 -- Three passengers were nabbed at the Boracay Airport on Thursday for allegedly booking their flights using fraudulent credit cards, and for apparently reselling travel funds on social media platforms.

Cebu Pacific (CEB) spokesperson Carmina Romero said the three had flown from Davao and were supposed to go back when they were intercepted.

In a statement, the CEB said investigation is ongoing in coordination with the Philippine National Police.

The airline reminds passengers to book their flights only through its official website, mobile app, or accredited travel partners.

Passengers are also advised against transacting with unauthorized sellers.
