Manila, Dec. 30 -- The Department of Transportation (DOTr) on Tuesday said three more EDSA Busway stations will be constructed in 2026 to improve the bus system's efficiency and accessibility to commuters.

The additional three stations in Cubao, Magallanes and Paranaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) are in line with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s directive to further improve the busway's time and motion and encourage the use of public transport.

Transportation Undersecretary for Road Infrastructure Mark Steven Pastor said the bidding for the construction of three EDSA Busway stations had been awarded this month, with construction set to begin in the first quarter of 2026, and will be completed in the fourth quarter of 2026. ...
