MANILA, Oct. 16 -- The three-day transport strike led by transport group Manibela concluded peacefully on Wednesday, with no untoward incident recorded across the country, acting Philippine National Police (PNP) chief, Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr., said.

"The situation was generally peaceful and manageable. Our police units continue to maintain visibility in key transport terminals and major routes to ensure the safety of commuters and the smooth flow of traffic.
