Malasiqui Pangasinan, July 25 -- A total of 267,980 families, consisting of 952,767 individuals, in Pangasinan have been affected by severe flooding and other effects of the series of weather disturbances since last week, the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) said.

About 33 municipalities and three cities out of the 48 localities in the province have been affected by the weather disturbance, and a rapid damage assessment team has been deployed for post-disaster risk analysis, PDRRMO assistant head Avenix Arenas said in a phone interview Friday.
