Manila, Nov. 8 -- The reported fatalities due to Typhoon Tino (international name Kalmaegi) has reached 204, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said on Saturday.

Of the number, 141 were logged in Cebu; one each in Antique, Iloilo, Guimaras, Bohol, and Leyte; two in Southern Leyte; three in Capiz; six in Agusan del Sur; 27 in Negros Occidental; and 20 in Negros Oriental.

In its 6 a.m. situation report, the NDRRMC said the deadly storm also left 156 people injured in Cebu, Leyte, Negros Occidental, Surigao del Norte, and Surigao del Sur; and 109 remain missing.

Tino made landfall on Tuesday, tearing through several parts of the Visayas and Mindanao.
