Manila, Jan. 5 -- The Army's 10th Infantry Division (10ID) on Monday confirmed that administrative investigations have been conducted against its troopers allegedly involved in illegal mining in Misamis Oriental.
In an interview, Maj. Ruben Gadut, 10ID public affairs chief and spokesperson, confirmed that both remain on active duty with the 10th Military Intelligence Battalion.
"We are cooperating fully with the police since they have the custody (of the troopers). There will be appropriate administrative and legal actions taken if warranted," he said.
