MANILA, Dec. 6 -- Two alleged high-value drug suspects were arrested in Panabo City, Davao del Norte on Friday after yielding an estimated PHP27.6 million worth of suspected shabu, police reported.
Police Regional Office-Davao Region Director Brig. Gen. Leon Victor Rosete said the suspects, identified only by their aliases, "Gang" and "Cesar," were apprehended in a joint buy-bust in Barangay San Francisco.
Authorities seized from the suspects several sachets and knot-tied plastic packs containing about 4,060 grams of suspected shabu, valued at PHP27,608,000.
Also recovered were a genuine PHP1,000 bill used as marked money, PHP100,000 in boodle money, and two bags.
