Manila, May 15 -- Two cops are facing criminal and administrative charges for allegedly creating public disturbance inside a bar in Quezon City, the National Capital Region Police Office said Thursday.
In a statement, NCRPO chief Maj. Gen. Anthony Aberin said alarm and scandal as well as malicious mischief complaints were filed against the cops with the rank of patrolman and corporal.
"They are now under restrictive custody. They are facing criminal cases of alarms and scandals, and malicious mischief," Aberin said.
He said the cops also face administrative charges with a maximum penalty of dismissal from the service.
