Manila, Jan. 27 -- Teachers and students in Pangan-an Elementary and High School, a remote island village in Lapu-Lapu City, now enjoy free electricity through a solar power system installed by Aboitiz InfraCapital Cebu Airport Corporation, the private operator of Mactan Cebu International Airport.
The company donated two 5.5-kilowatt (kW) solar power systems, each equipped with 10 solar panels, a 5-kW Losun inverter, and a 51.2V 100AH battery.
These systems provide reliable renewable energy, reducing operational costs and allowing the schools to allocate savings toward educational improvements.
