Manila, April 15 -- Fifteen persons deprived of liberty (PDL) from the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP)-San Jose District Jail here achieved a significant milestone by graduating from the Department of Education's (DepEd) Alternative Learning System (ALS) Senior High School program.
In a report on Tuesday, BJMP-Mimaropa Regional Information Officer, Jail Officer 3 Joefrie Anglo, said the initiative aligns with agency's commitment to providing developmental opportunities for PDL, offering them a chance to rebuild their lives and contribute positively to society.
