Manila, Dec. 16 -- A total of 126 Filipinos have been displaced following the continuous border clashes between Cambodia and Thailand, said the Philippine Embassy in Bangkok on Tuesday.
Philippine Ambassador to Thailand Millicent Cruz-Paredes, in a Bagong Pilipinas Ngayon interview, said the 126 were among those evacuated in local communities along the borders.
"Maganda naman ang kanilang kalagayan, wala naman sila sa panganib, hindi naman sila naiipit sa labanan; nailikas naman kaagad sila nang maaga (They are in a good condition and are not in any immediate danger; they were able to evacuate promptly)," she said.
