Manila, March 30 -- The Philippine National Police (PNP) has recorded 11 election-related incidents (ERIs) since Jan. 12 when the poll period began.

In a radio interview on Sunday, PNP spokesperson Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo said the PNP has received 39 suspected ERIs as of March 28, of which 11 were validated.

Five are stil being validated and 23 were found to be not related to the May 12 elections.

Of the 11 validated ERIs, five are currently undergoing preliminary investigation while the rest are on the case buildup stage, Fajardo said.
