Manila, Feb. 20 -- The construction of the provincial government of Pangasinan's own 11-story government center worth around PHP2 billion, along with a 1,500-seat convention, is set to begin following the groundbreaking ceremony on Thursday.

In an interview, Pangasinan Governor Ramon Guico III said the first phase of the government center is expected to be completed within the year while they eyed to complete the entire project within the next three to four years.

Guico underscored the need for efficiency in government operations, citing how current offices are spread across different buildings.
