MANILA, April 12 -- More than 10,000 police officers and force multipliers will be deployed across Metro Manila to ensure public safety during the Holy Week and summer vacation, the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) announced Saturday.

Strong police presence at 300 churches (1,071 officers), along major roads managing traffic (791 officers), at transport hubs ensuring smooth journeys (399 officers), in malls and business centers (592 officers), and in parks and recreational spaces (982 officers) are among the security pkans, NCRPO Director Maj. Gen. Anthony Aberin said in a news release.

The deployment will begin April 14.
