Manila, Oct. 24 -- There will be scattered rains in most of the country on Saturday due to tropical depression (TD) Quinta and typhoon Saudel (international name).

In its daily weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the center of Quinta was last estimated 750 kilometers (km) east of Catarman, Northern Samar.

The TD has maximum sustained winds of 55 km per hour (km/h) near the center, gustiness of up to 70 km/h, and is moving northwestward at 15 km/h.

Saudel, on the other hand, was last located outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility, 735 km west of Northern Luzon.
