Manila, Feb. 17 -- The virtual visitation or "e-dalaw" program for persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) in the Bicol Region is expected to get a boost with the acquisition of new communication devices.
In an interview on Monday, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology in Bicol (BJMP-5) community relations service officer Senior Jail Officer 1 Ruth Castor said this would be made possible by the 18 tablet devices recently donated by the Department of Information Communication Technology in Bicol (DICT-5).
