MANILA, July 4 -- Tropical Depression Bising exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Friday afternoon, but its trough as well as the southwest monsoon will continue to bring heavy rains to some areas in Luzon.

Bising was located 345 kilometers west northwest of Calayan, Cagayan as of 4 p.m. No tropical cyclone wind signal was hoisted.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Ilocos Norte will still experience heavy rains due to the cyclone's trough.

Moderate to heavy rains will prevail over Ilocos Sur and La Union due to the southwest monsoon.
