Manila, April 16 -- At least 256 families consisting of 1,205 individuals benefited from the adopt-a-family (Kapwa ko, Sagot ko) program a week after the Police Regional Office (PRO) 9 (Zamboanga Peninsula) launched the initiative across the region. The program is PRO-9's contribution to government efforts in easing the plight of indigent families who have been affected by the disruption of their livelihood amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) crisis.
